Rosemary Marshina was born February 3, 1947, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Mary (Perrone) and William Ferro. She went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 6, 2022, surrounded by her loving and devoted son and daughter-in-law.
Rosemary attended the Philadelphia Public Schools as a youth. She worked various jobs throughout her life but for the most part she was a loving and dedicated homemaker. Her number one priority was nurturing and caring for her family.
Rosemary was quite an artist. In her free and down time she enjoyed; drawing, coloring and making various crafts. Rosemary was a believer and loved the Lord. Through sickness and different trials, she remained faithful and strong in her belief and love for God. She was a three-time cancer survivor.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Mary and William Ferro; brothers, Leonard and Joseph Ferro.
Rosemary leaves to cherish her many fond memories: her devoted son and caregiver, James "Jim" Marshina; loving and devoted daughter-in-law, Nicole Reaves-Marshina; brothers, Phillip, William "Billy" and Mark Ferro; eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial celebration of Rosemary's life and the love her family has for her will be scheduled at a later date.
