Bonita Jean Tedball nee Romanowski of Thedford passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 in her 74th year. Bonnie was the loved wife of the late William Terrance Tedball. Life-long residents of Thedford, Bonnie and Terry raised their family of Terri Lynn (Todd Cornies), Lisa (Tim Holt), and Christine (Fred Smith) and is predeceased by her son Jason and infant daughter Kathy. Bonnie is also predeceased by her parents Otto and Nettie Romanowski and sister Penny McNaughton. Bonnie was blessed to see her family grow with grandchildren, Josh Store, Jeremiah O’Brien (Kristen), Jessica O’Brien(Justin), Dekker Hierons, Skylar Smith, Holly Smith, Wyatt Hierons and great-grandchildren, Hayden, Hailey and Logan O’Brien, Tyler and Lucy Smith. Bonnie will be missed by her many extended family members, friends and neighbours who loved her so much. A dedicated and extremely hard worker, Bonnie worked over the years at Huckworth’s Produce, Tender Tootsies, The Thedford Mini Mart, MacGregor’s Grocery, and as a costume maker in Sarnia before working alongside her daughter in her cleaning business. A woman who put her whole self into what she did, Bonnie worked hard all her life. Bonnie knew how to have fun during her time off, always cherishing her visits at Penny and Dick’s for Sunday dinners, Bonnie loved seeing her family together and if a little Elvis music happened to get turned on, the day was just about perfect. Bonnie loved, and knew how to laugh, and laugh she did whenever she got together with her friend Kay for a wild game of Yahtzee, the laughter was contagious during those daily games. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you for the many thoughts and prayers at this time. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a celebration of Bonnie’s life is being postponed. Details will be shared here at a later date. Donations are appreciated in Bonnie’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ailsa Craig & Area Food Bank.
