Clement Wigfall affectionately known as "Wiggy" was born February 9th, 1948 in New York City, to the parents of Bernice Wigfall and Clement Carter. On March 19th, 2021 Clement Wigfall passed away at Huntington Hospital, in Long Island, New York.
Clement was once married to Cassandra McReynolds-Wigfall and became the stepfather to Michael and Monica McReynolds. In 1980, he became the proud father of his daughter Danielle Riedel. Clement and Cassandra remained the dearest of friends and maintained a strong bond between one another.
Clement was an electrician by trade and worked at The New York State Office Building on 125th Street in Manhattan for several years. He retired from The Veterans Cemetery in Long Island New York, and spent his free time fellowshipping with others, and traveling from state to state in his car.
Clement loved to humor others with stories of his travels. Although he was a private person, he was a great listener, and made himself available to others when needed.
Clement leaves to mourn his children, Michael McReynolds, Monica McReynolds and Danielle Riedel. His grandchildren, Travis, Alyssa, Anthony, Veronica McReynolds Cassandra (Angela) McReynolds, Justin McReynolds, and Aliya McReynolds. His sisters Yvonne Pickett, Darlene Wilson, and Regina Wigfall, his aunt Tudie, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his former colleagues and friends.
The family would like to thank Felix Kasirye who was a great friend to Clement. All his support during this has been truly appreciated.
This quote is from his daughter Danielle Riedel.
"I know no one is perfect but I feel like my daddy came really close. He was the perfect father and friend to everyone. Protesting and fighting for what he believed in. He was loved by so many because he had such a good heart. He was there
for everyone even when he wasn't feeling great, he never complained he just showed up for you. He was truly an amazing person and I love him and will miss him deeply."
