LITTLE FALLS - Marcia Ann Kaminski, age 66, of Altamont, New York passed away peacefully in Stony Brook, NY, on Monday, August 16, 2021.
Born in Little Falls on September 7, 1954, she was the beloved daughter of the late Marion (Mimi) and Kazimierz (Ki) Kaminski. After graduation from Little Falls, Marcia continued her education at SUNY Buffalo, receiving her degree in Art Education. Well known for her passion for the arts, her work graced the decor of many prominent establishments. Much more than that, however, Marcia extended her grace to those around her. A beautiful, charming, elegant woman, she loved deeply and was deeply loved. Her passion for life and those she loved was evident to all who knew her.
Marcia is survived by her beloved son, Noel Kaminski and his fiancée, Amanda Gorman; and many dear cousins and friends; along with her cherished cat, Charisma. Marcia gave her life to her son Noel, he was everything to her and she lived to care for him. She was a single mother who had one goal in life and that was to help, provide for and love her son. She was amazing at it. Marcia would call Noel her little Buddha and he is forever grateful for being blessed with such a wonderful mother.
Besides these loved ones, Marcia is also survived by her long lost and recently found big sister, Shali Potter Vitello and her husband, James and their family. Their profound love for one another was immediate and miraculous, a union that all Marcia’s surviving loved ones know could only have been orchestrated in Heaven and for that, we are forever grateful.
Funeral arrangements have been placed in the hands of Marcia’s friend, Harry Enea (Little Falls), with calling hours to be held on Tuesday evening, August 24, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street, in Little Falls. Much of the funeral home décor was contributed to the amazing talents of Marcia which was always so much appreciated.
Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at 11:00 AM, at the Enea Family Funeral Home, in Little Falls, with Deacon Jim Bower, officiating. Interment will then take place at Oak Hill Cemetery, in Herkimer, New York. Family and friends are invited to attend the calling hours, the funeral service and the cemetery interment ceremony.
