Debra Ann Adams, lovingly known as Debbie, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2024, at the age of 64, in her hometown of Morgantown, WV. Born on July 5, 1959, to the late Dorothy Shillingburg Coffman and Russell Irvin Coffman Sr., Debbie was a beacon of kindness and a friend to all who knew her.
Debbie’s life was rich with love and laughter, marked by her unwavering commitment to her family. She is cherished in memory by her devoted son, Charles Ridge Adams; her sisters Diana Coffman, Shari Buseman and her husband James, Donna Jordan and her husband Michael, Belinda Miller, and Cathy Hicks and her husband Jim; and her brother Roger Coffman Sr. and his wife Tessie. Though Debbie was predeceased by her brother, Russell Coffman Jr., her step son, Michael Adams, and her parents, her vibrant spirit lives on through her step-children, Robert and Candace Adams, several step-grandchildren, and her sister friend, Candace Lowry.
Debbie’s interests were as varied as they were rich. She found joy in creating diamond paintings, immersing herself in drama, true crime, and horror movies, and most of all, spending precious moments with her beloved family. Those who were touched by Debbie’s presence would attest to her loving nature, friendly demeanor, and kindness that extended well beyond her immediate circle.
The loss of Debbie Ann Adams will be felt deeply by her family, friends, and all who were graced by her gentle, caring soul. Her memory and the warmth she spread continue to live on in the hearts of those she loved.
