Heather, Martha and families...so sorry for your loss, we all have fond memories of Uncle John...mine go back to when he was in police college and would come home on weekends...I would sometimes be at grandma's sleeping on couch...they would be in kitchen talking quietly trying not to wake me...always so thoughtful and kind. We invited Uncle John and Aunt Doris to come to Mount Forest for a home coming weekend, a few years back...he enjoyed seeing a lot of his old friends, he never liked to impose, so wasn’t totally surprised he booked a motel for a few nights in a nearby town. We also remember him coming to mom and dads never empty handed...loved when he brought spareribs to barbecued them for us… we never barbecued back then...so what a treat. Uncle John will certainly be missed by many.

Dear cousins, We are very saddened to lose the last member of mom’s siblings, Uncle John. We have shared many good times with him over the years. He was quite a character and it looks like he enjoyed being a social convener at the home. Family reunions will not be the same!! We visited Uncle John and Aunt Doris many years ago. They took us on a tour and while walking through a park a flock of sea gulls flew over. Just as Uncle John looked up, there was a big splat right on the top of his head. He took it very well and told us it would bring him good luck!!! It was funny!!! Hope to see you guys in the spring/summer!! Lots of love Wayne & Dianne

Dear cousins, so very sorry for your loss. Sounded like Uncle John was the life of the party at the senior's residence! What a comfort to know he passed so peaceful, truly a blessing! May you find comfort in all the wonderful memories. Hugs, Cathy
