Hipolito Olivencia, age 77 years of Camden, passed away on January 7, 2022.
Beloved husband of Hilda Munoz for 54 years. Devoted father of Hipolito Jr. (Lourdes) and Yvette Olivencia-Torres (Julio Torres). Loving grandfather of Katara Olivencia, Tyra, Justin and Jaden Torres and great grandfather of Julian. Dear brother of Tito, Tomas, Genoveva, Justa Olivencia and two sisters who predeceased him. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Hipolito enjoyed watching baseball and was an avid NY Mets fan. He loved to play bingo with the neighbors, dominos and card games with the grandkids. Hipolito liked fishing and music and playing the accordion.
Hipolito loved Puerto Rico and was proud of his heritage.
When he was in good health he would back travel yearly to visit his extended family and friends. He loved his red truck and could often be found just sitting in it listening to music and greeting his neighbors. Hipolito was a very happy and positive person who loved life. His great grandson, Julian was the apple of his eye and he cherished his time spent with him. Hipolito will be missed by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 9:30-11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
