Raymond N. Gordon was born on April 13, 1941, in Kingston, Jamaica, to Una (Hedge) and Frank Gordon. He went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 5, 2021.
As a young man, Raymond started his career in upholstery and furniture making. At the age of 37, he migrated to the United States where he continued to work as an upholsterer until his retirement in 2006. After retirement, he moved to Atlantic City, New Jersey, where he lived the rest of his life.
Raymond was known by many to be kind, loving, and most of all, a prankster that loved to play tricks on the people he loved most. He was not a confrontational person. In in times of trouble he was famous for disappearing. Raymond was a lover of music, computers, video games, and the ocean.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Una and Frank Gordon.
Raymond leaves to mourn: his ex-wife, three of his four surviving children, ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, two cousins and a host of other family members and friends.
