Olga Noelia Figueroa was born May 31, 1941, in Isabella, Puerto Rico, to Narcisa Valentin and Abraham Figueroa. She passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022, at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus.
Olga spent many of her years in Atlantic City, New Jersey, where she worked as a seamstress and co-owned Figueroa's Gift Shop with her sister. She enjoyed arts and crafts and loved to crochet, knit and sew. Olga enjoyed going to Caring Inc., in Pleasantville, New Jersey, where she also was able do arts and crafts and various other activities.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Eudamio Perez; parents, Narcisa Valentin and Abraham Figueroa; sister, Delia Figueroa.
Olga leaves to cherish many fond memories: her loving children, Evelyn Padilla (George), Javier Perez (Miriam), Nydia Rodas (Edgar), Rolando Perez and Olga Lissette Perez; grandchildren, Christopher Barreto, Carlos Padilla (Bessy Zelaya), Lionie Perez (Gigi), Jessica Perez, Manuel Cordero (Giselle), Jose Cordero, Steven Cordero (Oriana), Natasha Cordero (Jonathan Carrion), Gicela Hernandez and Ariel Javier; great-grandchildren, Noel, Larrisa, Benji and Jackson Cordero, Uriyah and Marianna Perez, Azalea Mercado and Ezra Carrion; siblings, Nelida Concepcion, Alejandro Figueroa, Brenda Vazquez (Miguel), Betzaida Juarbe, Juan Figueroa (Luz), Abraham Figueroa (Luz), Maria Juarbe (Eliacin), Angel Figueroa, Luis Figueroa (Damaris) and Jose Figueroa (Ana); as well as many nieces, nephews and life-long family friends.
The family of Olga Figueroa, would like to share their sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff and volunteers at Caring Inc., as well as to everyone for the many acts of kindness and support extended to them during this difficult time.
A Mass of Christian burial to Celebrate her life will be held 11:00AM on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at Our Lady Star of The Sea Roman Catholic Church, 2651 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City, New Jersey, where friends may view from 9AM to 10:45. Another Mass of Christian burial will be Monday, May 23, 2022, in Isabella, Puerto Rico, followed by burial in Atlantic Garden Veterans Cemetery, Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.
