Our sincerest and heartfelt sympathy to you, Liz, and your family. Such a trying time and under terrible circumstances. I've had many rememberances in the last few days of being with Richard. We had many gaps in our friendship but my memories go as far back as public school. I remember flying model airplanes out of his upstairs bedroom window (not very successfully); climbing and running on the rafters and jumping in the hay mow; trying to dodge his very precise aim when he was milking the goat. As teens and young drivers, we used to delight when there was freezing rain or snow and trying to do 360's on Brock Road while the roads were too icy for any sane people to be out driving. Motorcycles brought us back together after work, kids and mortgages seemed to keep everyone otherwise occupied. My last ride with Rich was last fall to Quebec. As always, it was complete with long time friends, razing, and good humour. As Rich would often say, " it was high-a-lee-hilarious". RIP
