Thomas R. Capito, 57, went to be with the Lord in the early hours of Sunday morning May 22nd 2022.
Born in Atlantic City NJ, he graduated from The Pilgram Academy, lived in Beesleys Point, and worked as a crew chief and maintenance supervisor for the 177th Fighter Wing Air National Guard until retiring in 2020. He was a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom while serving for the United States Air Force. Thomas was a dedicated follower of Christ and attended Second Cape May Baptist and Coastal Christian Church. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, and camping with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Andrea, children Thomas and his wife Melinda, Peter, John, Hannah, and Aaron, brother Michael, sister Angela, parents Alonzo and Theresa, and one grandchild Ella.
Thomas was preceded in death by his mother Heidi Capito (nee Frist), grandmother Elfriede Angerman (nee Stegemann), and Uncle Hans Frist.
His Funeral Service will be offered Friday, May 27th at 12 Noon from Second Cape May Baptist Church, 600 South Shore Road, Palermo, NJ where friends may call from 10 am until 11:30 am.
Burial will follow in Seaside Cemetery, Palermo, NJ.
