Mary Ann Bouleris, 93, of Glenville passed peacefully on July 21, 2021. Born in Cohoes, NY to the late Paul and Anna (Karpa) Bogic. A graduate of Troy High School, she was a longtime devoted member of the First Baptist Church in Downtown Troy. She was a real life Rosie the Riveter at the Watervliet Arsenal during World War II, she assembled cannon parts for the war effort.
On April 10, 1948 she married her beloved husband, Francis J. Bouleris. They built their family home in Spiegletown, NY where they raised their family. Mary was active in the Speigletown community.
In 2013, Mary moved to Glenville and became a member of the East Glenville Community Church.
Mary loved dancing, especially with her husband to polka music. She will be remembered for her crafting, decorating and gardening, always leaving something or somewhere more beautiful than before. Her favorite place to be, however, was with her family, those moments together will be cherished by her loved ones forever.
Predeceased by her husband, Francis J. Bouleris; predeceased by her son-in-law, Ken Hayes.
To continue her memory are her children, Todd F. (Michele) Bouleris and Sandra Hayes; grandchildren, James and Dean (Tammie) Spurlin, Andrew, Jessica and Joshua Bouleris: step-children, Paul, Erika and Adam Barker.
Calling hours will be held at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road, on Monday, July 26th from 4 to 6 PM. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will follow at 6 PM. Burial will be private for family and friends at Memory Gardens. Online condolences at glenvillefuneralhome.com
