Doris Jean Wilson was born December 11, 1941, in Chatham, Virginia to Nanny Mae Elizabeth (Coleman) and John Henry Robertson. She went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 16, 2022.
"Jean" as she was affectionately known, graduated from Penns Grove High School. She worked for the Chrysler Corporation in Newark, Delaware until she retired. After retiring from Chrysler, Jean fulfilled her dream of being an entrepreneur. She owned and operated N Style Limousine Service serving many families and friends throughout South Jersey and Delaware. In her spare time, she enjoyed making floral arrangements and selling hats.
Jean was known for her phenomenal style and dress, especially her Hats and Heels. She was a member of Second Baptist Church of Pedricktown for many years before becoming a member of Seeds of Greatness Church in New Castle, Delaware, under the leadership of Pastor Jerome Lewis.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Nanny and John Henry Robertson; siblings, Anna Mae Tarpley, Jimmy Robertson, John Robertson, Jr. and Marietta Robertson.
Jean leaves to cherish her fond memories: her children, Gary Wilson (Lillian) and Clarence "Buster" Wilson III; step-daughter, Leatha Husser; brother, Robert "Bobby" Robertson (Barbara); sisters, Frances McDonald and Betty Robertson; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Graveside services to celebrate Jean's life will be Noon Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at Eglington Cemetery, 320 Kings Highway, Clarksboro, New Jersey.
