Ana DjetvayNaray Ana was born in a small village in what is now Croatia to Hungarian parents, Pavo and Rosa. She was the middle of three girls. The village had three ethnic/language groups: German (Schwab), Croatian and Hungarian. As a result. Ana was fluent in all three languages. She was somewhat of a tomboy and encouraged by her father, she rode horses, worked hard in the fields and was up to any challenge presented. During WW II, successive armies (German and Partisan) moved through her village confiscating their food stores and animals. She saw Roma villagers and Jews being taken away never to be seen again. At one point, her father gathered the family and showed them where the family’s gold (ducats and other jewelry) would be buried so that if they were separated, the survivors could come back to claim it. Many of her German friends’ families moved to Austria while others later made it to Canada. She married George Naray in 1949 and they had three children-Margita (Margaretta) and the twins, Duka (George) and Ana. Unlike her peasant home, Ana’s new (marital) home had both tiled and wooden floors. Ana also changed from her traditional peasant clothing to modern dress and got rid of her braids. George and Ana moved to Canada in the late fifties settling first with George’s parents on Augusta Avenue in the Kensington Market area. Sadly, at five years old, littleAna (George’s twin) suffered severe medical problems and died shortly after the family settled in Canada. Ana soon found work as a cleaning lady for several families. Eventually she became the housekeeper for one family looking after the household in every way including looking after the children. She was a trusted member of the household and set her own hours. She retired when her husband George did.Like many immigrant women, Ana learned to speak English by watching television, especially soap operas. Within a year, the Narays bought a car and moved into their new home in the Bloor-Landsdowne area of Toronto (on Margueretta St) where they lived for four years. Later they moved to Flamborough Drive in North York. Ana loved Canada right from the beginning. Life was so much easier-indoor plumbing, running water, washing machine (wringer style) and good health care. Many of her childhood friends and relatives were already in or eventually came to Canada. After their children married and both families settled in in Aurora, the senior Narays also settled into a home in Aurora across the street from their son’s family’s home. The grandkids and grandparents visited daily. Their daughter and her family eventually moved to Alliston. When the house was getting to be too much to handle, the senior Narays moved into a condo in Aurora. Eventually, with her husband’s physical needs and dementia as well as her own difficulty continuing to maintain their condo, they moved to Good Samaritan Lodge in Alliston. She and her husband loved it right away. No more worries about meals and later self care. They truly felt at home. Family (clan) gatherings eventually took place in the activity room and outdoor gardens with children, spouses, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends enjoying major events-birthdays, Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving and summer BBQs. After her husband George died, Ana often visited him at the cemetery next door. When she was no longer able to do so on her own, staff would sometimes walk her over. She missed George very much. They had spent their entire adult lives together. Ana died peacefully on December 25 at her home, Good Samaritan Lodge 3 years after her husband who died on December 27, 2017. Ana is survived by her oldest daughter Margaretta Naray and husband Mel Pyper. Margaretta’s children Ashley Wheelan (Lulu) and their girls Isabelle and Catherine. Emily Wheelan (Rich van den Ende) and his daughter Hannah Beau Wheelan Mel’s son Jason (Bryonie) and their children Gilbert and Greer Mel’s daughter Charlene Her son George J. Naray His children George Alan Naray (Katie) and their children Easton, Mason and the twins Georgia and Jayce Nicole Coelho (Nelson) and their children Ethan, Benjamin and Matthew Michelle Naray (Chris Fenwich) and their son Hudson She is also survived by her younger sister Maria Djetvay Puskaric and her family, as well as her nephew John Djetvay and his family. Your donation will be processed through My Tribute Gift Foundation for distribution to your selected charity. Your credit card transaction record will appear as My Tribute Gift Foundation. An official tax receipt for your donation will be issued by My Tribute Gift Foundation. Donations are sent out to charities at the end of each month for all donations received in that previous month. So a donation made on the first day of the month would be sent at the same time as one made on last day. Payments would be sent either by paper check or direct deposit. Please note that the there is 3% + 35¢/transaction fee for credit card processing, My Tribute Gift Foundation collects a 5% administrative fee. These fees help fund the cost of processing all donations, issuing tax receipts, and sending all appropriate information to the selected charity. These fees are assumed by your selected charity, but you will receive a receipt for the full amount of your donation. There are NO additional costs the charity has to endure to participate and accept donations through MyTributeGift.org. According to the American Institute for Philanthropy (charitywatch.org) a charitable organization is considered “Good” if they are spending less than 30% on administration and fundraising costs. My Tribute Gift Foundation helps reduce those administrative costs for charities and allows donors to contribute to lasting memorials for their loved ones.
When donating online, if the donation form has an option to add a tip, there is no convenience fee. The tip is optional and can be adjusted before you submit your donation. The amount of the tip will be displayed to you before you confirm the charge to your payment card. Tips are in addition to the donation amount, so they do not affect the amount that goes to the charitable organization. Under IRS and CRA rules, tips are not tax deductible to the donor.
You warrant and represent that all information and materials you provide to My Tribute Gift Foundation, through the Website or otherwise, are accurate and truthful and do not violate third party rights. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MY TRIBUTE GIFT FOUNDATION OR ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, SERVICE PROVIDERS, AND AGENTS (THE "FOUNDATION PARTIES") BE LIABLE FOR ANY: (i) INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, COMPENSATORY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; (ii) DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF INCOME, LOSS OF PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF DATA OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY; (iii) CLAIMS OF THIRD PARTIES; OR (iv) OTHER PECUNIARY LOSS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OF USE, THE WEBSITE OR ANY LINKED SITE. Indemnity. YOU AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS THE FOUNDATION PARTIES FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, ACTIONS, SUITS AND PROCEEDINGS BROUGHT BY YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY (COLLECTIVELY "CLAIMS") ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THIS SITE IN BREACH OF THESE TERMS OF USE OR THE INFRINGEMENT BY YOU OF ANY INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS OF ANY PERSON OR ENTITY, INCLUDING ALL LOSSES, LIABILITIES, DAMAGES, COSTS AND EXPENSES (INCLUDING ALL LEGAL FEES) ARISING FROM SUCH CLAIMS.

As a donor, you are responsible for researching the charity, understanding how your money will be used, and understanding the tax implications of your donation. We will email you a receipt, but the deductibility of your donation depends on your individual tax situation. We are not financial, tax, or legal experts. Please do not rely on our information to make decisions about your finances, taxes or legal matters. Consult a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.
Participating organizations have chosen to actively participate in the “Sponsor Program” to be represented in the Sponsor Charity array in an effort to increase their exposure and the opportunity for more memorial donations to be made to their organization. A rate structure is agreed upon and assessed on each donation processed through that program according to each organization’s individual agreement. Giving through that program has helped many organizations realize a drastic and significant increase in net donations.
If a donation form has a line item of Convenience Fee. The Convenience fee is displayed to you prior to approving the charge to your payment card. The convenience fee is in addition to the donation amount, so they do not affect the amount reaching the charitable organization. For example, a $100 donation becomes a $101.50 transaction. The convenience fee is directed immediately to a for-profit service provider. According to IRS and CRA rules the tax deductible receipt will therefore only be issued for the subtotal amount.
My Tribute Gift Foundation seeks to distribute all funds to organizations provided they have maintained active 501c3 certification in the United States or registered charity status in Canada. MTG relies on the beneficiary organizations to maintain and keep up to date contact information on file with the IRS or CRA respectively. This must be done in order for My Tribute Gift Foundation to exercise care and reasonable efforts to distribute payment promptly, without undue cost and burden to the foundation. In the event that a payment has not been deposited 12 months from issuance, the foundation reserves the right to utilize those funds in its mission to the foundation.
My Tribute Gift Foundation reserves the right to modify, change, discontinue and suspend these Terms of Use, the Website, and/or any services offered through the Website, in whole or in part, at any time, without prior notice to you. Your continued access or use of the Website after modifications to these Terms of Use have been posted on the Website shall indicate your acceptance of and agreement to be bound by these Terms of Use as modified.
