Cora Eileen Mick (nee Owens), age 71 years, died surrounded by her family on April 6, 2021 at her home in Pitman. Born in Camden, she was raised in Blackwood, and graduated from Triton High School in 1969. She has lived in Pitman since 1973. She loved summering in Cape May, NJ and walking on the promenade. She was a member, volunteer, past treasurer and vice president of the Mullica Hill BMX Assn. Exercise was very important to her, as a member of the Kennedy Fitness Club in Blackwood, NJ, she enjoyed yoga and pilates. She was employed for 22 years by Dr. Eli Sachs, and then Dr. Shari Hyder as an office manager. Cora was diagnosed with Glioblastoma on Christmas Eve 2019. Predeceased by her brother Thomas D. Owens, Jr., and brother in laws; Robert Wilson and Daniel Frizzle.
Survived by her husband of 47 years, Robert W. Mick, Jr., sons; Robert (Denise) Mick III, Jeffrey W., Todd M. (Lisa), Steven C. (Christina), and Gregory T. (Daniel Meier), 7 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Also survived by her sisters; Sally Wilson and Barbara Frizzle, and sister-in-law Dorothy “Sparkle” Owens.
