Son of the late Thomas and Anna Mae Fenlon. Beloved husband of Gloria (nee Corbeil), dear father of Shawn Christensen (Poul), Timothy Fenlon (Michelle) of Winnipeg, Lauri Ann Fenlon (the late Brad Addison) of Vancouver, Ellen Murphy (Charles) of Ottawa. Loving Grandad to Ian, Anne, Michael, Karyn, Christopher, Brendan, Kate, Sean and Marc. Great Grandad to Eva, Rowan C., Romy, Evan, Francis, Will, Charlie and Rowan A. Survived by his sister Doreen Culp of San Ramone, California and his brother Bert Fenlon of Thunder Bay, and countless nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings Bernice Clarke, Tom Fenlon, Ella Mae Kelly, Bill Fenlon, Frank Fenlon, and Rosemary Bentz. Bob was born in Port Arthur, Ontario August 27, 1927, just seconds after his identical twin brother, Bill. He attended St. Andrew’s School where he and Bill had great fun standing in for each other to torment the good nuns. At 18 he met the love of his life, Gloria, at the Catholic Youth Club. He decided that night that she was the one. They celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary three weeks ago after 77 years together. Theirs was an extraordinary marriage, full of love and laughter. They were all things to each other, inseparable until Gloria’s move to long term care. It is no surprise that Bob did not go on long without her by his side, dying only a few weeks later. Bob was a man of great intelligence, wit and curiosity, reading at least 3 papers a day and following breaking news at all hours. His home was always full of the music he loved---Strauss waltzes, classical piano, and New Orleans jazz. Bob had a gift for making people laugh, especially in tough moments. He had a gift for storytelling and play; children were drawn to him. All of his grandchildren stayed close, travelling long distances to visit. His children remember long summers of diving from his shoulders into the waves at McKenzie Beach. Bob had a long career, running a successful real estate business. He was known for his integrity and commitment to his staff and clients. Retiring at 60, he devoted his time to chairing the Housing Authority, to many other volunteer activities, including leading the drive to build a band shell in Waverley Park to bring music to others. At the centre of Bob’s life was his Catholic faith and family. He was a good man, generous with his love. We will miss him, but love endures. Visitation from 3 to 5, Thursday May 12 at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William Street South, Chatham. Funeral mass St. Joseph’s Church, 180 Wellington St. West on Friday May 13 at 10 a.m., followed by a reception at St. Ursula’s Parish Hall, 205 Tweedsmuir Avenue West. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Epilepsy Canada or the Interfaith Caring Kitchen (please donate through funeral home) would be appreciated.

So a donation made on the first day of the month would be sent at the same time as one made on last day. Payments would be sent either by paper check or direct deposit. Please note that the there is 3% + 35¢/transaction fee for credit card processing, My Tribute Gift Foundation collects a 5% administrative fee. These fees help fund the cost of processing all donations, issuing tax receipts, and sending all appropriate information to the selected charity. These fees are assumed by your selected charity, but you will receive a receipt for the full amount of your donation. There are NO additional costs the charity has to endure to participate and accept donations through MyTributeGift.org. According to the American Institute for Philanthropy (charitywatch.org) a charitable organization is considered “Good” if they are spending less than 30% on administration and fundraising costs. My Tribute Gift Foundation helps reduce those administrative costs for charities and allows donors to contribute to lasting memorials for their loved ones.
When donating online, if the donation form has an option to add a tip, there is no convenience fee. The tip is optional and can be adjusted before you submit your donation. The amount of the tip will be displayed to you before you confirm the charge to your payment card. Tips are in addition to the donation amount, so they do not affect the amount that goes to the charitable organization. Under IRS and CRA rules, tips are not tax deductible to the donor.

Indemnity. As a donor, you are responsible for researching the charity, understanding how your money will be used, and understanding the tax implications of your donation. We will email you a receipt, but the deductibility of your donation depends on your individual tax situation. We are not financial, tax, or legal experts. Please do not rely on our information to make decisions about your finances, taxes or legal matters. Consult a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.
Participating organizations have chosen to actively participate in the “Sponsor Program” to be represented in the Sponsor Charity array in an effort to increase their exposure and the opportunity for more memorial donations to be made to their organization. A rate structure is agreed upon and assessed on each donation processed through that program according to each organization’s individual agreement. Giving through that program has helped many organizations realize a drastic and significant increase in net donations.
If a donation form has a line item of Convenience Fee. The Convenience fee is displayed to you prior to approving the charge to your payment card. The convenience fee is in addition to the donation amount, so they do not affect the amount reaching the charitable organization. For example, a $100 donation becomes a $101.50 transaction. The convenience fee is directed immediately to a for-profit service provider. According to IRS and CRA rules the tax deductible receipt will therefore only be issued for the subtotal amount.
My Tribute Gift Foundation seeks to distribute all funds to organizations provided they have maintained active 501c3 certification in the United States or registered charity status in Canada. MTG relies on the beneficiary organizations to maintain and keep up to date contact information on file with the IRS or CRA respectively. This must be done in order for My Tribute Gift Foundation to exercise care and reasonable efforts to distribute payment promptly, without undue cost and burden to the foundation. In the event that a payment has not been deposited 12 months from issuance, the foundation reserves the right to utilize those funds in its mission to the foundation.
My Tribute Gift Foundation reserves the right to modify, change, discontinue and suspend these Terms of Use, the Website, and/or any services offered through the Website, in whole or in part, at any time, without prior notice to you. Your continued access or use of the Website after modifications to these Terms of Use have been posted on the Website shall indicate your acceptance of and agreement to be bound by these Terms of Use as modified.
