Mary was a very talented seamstress. She made baby clothes for her grandchildren as well as doll clothes. She also made the best baby bibs that she gave as gifts for baby showers. A handmade gift from Mary was very special as you knew she put a lot of time and effort into it. She was known for being a perfectionist with her crafts.

Mary was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years and also helped with vacation bible school. Her community will deeply miss her. Mary was also a member of the Trinity CEOS. She spent many hours volunteering her time for not only the community projects, but also county projects as well.
