Dr. Robert Deck, Sr.
Dr. Robert Earl Deck, 78 years, of Fort Worth, passed away on Friday May 21, 2021.
He was born on Wednesday May 12, 1943 in Dearborn, the son of Earl and Catherine Deck.
Dr. Deck was raised in Dearborn Michigan before moving to Detroit. He was an only child He owned and operated a local restaurant & bar called Mr. Roberts before deciding he wanted to become a Doctor of Chiropractic care. He moved to Missouri to complete his studies. Dr. Deck worked for Dallas Spinal Rehabilitation center and specialized in chiropractic & occupational medicine.
Dr. Robert Deck married Claudia Mandeville on May 7th 1984. They had one son together Robert Anthony Deck. Robert also had a daughter Michelle Wefsenmoe. He and Claudia lived in the Fort Worth area for over 30 years together. Dr. Deck had a passion for helping others and loved to cheer on his favorite football team, the TCU Horned Frogs. You could find him at Amon Carter Stadium each and every weekend cheering on the team and his son Robert. He was so proud to be a football dad.
He loved his family and friends, shooting guns at the gun range and being outside. He loved his children & grandchildren all there is, and enjoyed making memories with them. Grandpa was always up for anything and would do anything to make you laugh.
Preceded in death by both his parents Earl & Catherine and his beloved wife Claudia. He leaves behind his daughter Michelle Wefsenmoe, his son and daughter-in law Robert & Alicia Deck and his four grandchildren Jill Wefsenmoe, RJ Deck, Ryder Deck and Ryan Deck.
Services Will be held on Saturday, May 29 from 9:30 AM-10:30 AM at St. Andrew Catholic Church 3312 Dryden Road, Fort Worth
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 28 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home 6009 Wedgwood Drive, Fort Worth
