In the early 1980’s, Vita moved to Woodmere and began a career in the optical industry. She worked for many years at Cohen’s Fashion Optical, until her retirement.
Throughout her life, Vita was very active and enjoyed bowling, golfing, and became a huge Mets fan. Watching her “boys” play was one of her favorite pastimes. She was a great cook and also loved music, dancing and singing.
A fierce defender of her family, Vita enjoyed spending time with her children, sisters and her nieces and nephews. She was also well-loved by many friends throughout the years, enjoyed entertaining and celebrating life.
Vita will be truly missed by her family and friends. She will be remembered for her keen sense of humor, but mostly for her laugh and beautiful smile.
