Christopher Anthony Krysiak passed away peacefully on April 22, 2023 at the age of 59 years surrounded by his loving wife of 28 years, Kerry Packard Krysiak and his sisters.
Christopher was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Joseph and Viola Wesolowski Krysiak. A resident of Newtown, CT, Christopher worked as a mechanic for Bic Corporation for the past 15 years. Prior to that he worked at Bodine and Automotive Restoration.
Christopher’s passion for food took him and Kerry on many culinary excursions to NYC, Boston, Maine, Napa Valley and beyond. His enthusiasm for cars brought them to a F1 race in Austin, TX and to car shows in Cypress Gardens, FL and Carlisle, PA. He enjoyed live music and traveled as far as Red Rock Amphitheater in Colorado for an Avett Brothers concert.
Christopher preferred the comfort of his home but was always generously offering help for friends in need. Christopher’s free time was spent working in his yard and planning what tree to cut down or what to plant next. He loved to sit outside with a cup of coffee, take in the quiet, and enjoy the nature surrounding him. An extremely talented craftsman, Christopher custom built many pieces of furniture for their home. A car enthusiast, he took enormous pride in rebuilding his ‘68 Camaro. Christopher adored his devoted feline friends Gracie, Myles, and Olivia. He had compassion for animals and supported many local animal shelters.
In addition to his cherished wife Kerry, Christopher leaves behind his brother Joseph Krysiak (Nancy) of North Carolina, sisters Terri Albera (Larry) of Milford and Karen Krysiak (Sal) of Milford, in-laws David and Dianne Packard of Arizona, sister-in-law Kelly Howell (Tony) of Arkansas, his nephews Chris (Christie), Payton, and nieces Brittanie, Nolan, Camryn, and Paige,
cousins Ray and Billy Wesolowski, and extended family. He cherished relationships with those who were a part of his inner circle, especially lifelong friends Sean and Patti.
