Barbara W. Reynolds, 87, of Pequannock passed away April 6 2021.
Barbara was born to Andrew and Wilhelmina Wetzel in Bloomingdale NJ. She worked as a clerk for Chilton Hospital for over 20 years. She married her best friend of 75 years, Robert Reynolds and the two would have celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary this year. The two settled in Pequannock in 1958, where they raised their two children.
Barbara involved herself in the community and gave back when she could. She was a Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader when her own children were involved and extended her volunteering afterwards. She was a volunteer for the First Aid Squad of Pequannock for at least 20 years. She was also a member of Holy Spirit Church. She loved to travel especially to National Parks. She explored places like Alaska and Hawaii but the beauty of nature that National Parks offered, always awed Barbara.
Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She always wanted to surround herself by her family. She enjoyed organizing a get together with her family, whether it be family dinners or holiday gatherings.
Barbara is survived by her devoted husband Robert Leon Reynolds; her Son Robert L. Reynolds and his wife Valarie; her daughter Debbie Jones and her husband Robert; her grandchildren Kari Cillo, Larissa Potosnak, Jayson Reynolds, Jennifer McKenna and Scott Jones; Barbara is blessed with seven great grandchildren and her sister Joan DeGraw.
