Frederick Cingerana, Sr.
Dunellen, NJ – Frederick J. Cingerana, Sr., 53, passed away on September 13, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Somerset in Somerville. Born in Rahway to the late John Sr. and Marilyn (Holmes) Cingerana, Fred grew up in Jersey City, lived a short time in Union, and has been a resident of Dunellen for the past twenty years.
Fred loved cars and he currently worked for Richie’s Tire in Middlesex as a Tire Technician and was formerly the owner of Tiny’s Tire Service in Dunellen. He was an avid football fan, always rooting on the NY Giants and never missed his son’s games. When he wasn’t watching ball, he was reading – the newspaper, the latest John Grisham novel, or the back of the shampoo bottle.
Predeceased by his brother John and sister Marilyn, Fred leaves behind his loving wife of twenty-five years; Maria Cavacloglou, his twin sons; Freddy and Johnny, his niece whom he considered a daughter; Patti and his great-niece Anisa.
He also is survived by many extended family members and friends along with his four-legged friends; Cooper Brown and Rutter Butter.
Visitation will begin at 3:00pm on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854 and will conclude with a 6:30pm prayer service. At the request of the family, cremation will take place privately.
