Marlene Kay Eddy, 63, of Morgantown, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Ruby Memorial Hospice. Marlene was born in Morgantown on January 12, 1958 to the late Delbert & Mildred Clevenger Newbraugh.
Marlene worked in office management for Dynamic Physical Therapy and most recently Playworks. Her passion was her faith and involvement in Spruce Street United Methodist Church; where she attended for over 30 years. She sang in the choir, enjoyed bible study, volunteered as the Vacation Bible School director for 15 years, and was a member of the Morgantown Chapter of Sweet Adeline’s. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.
Marlene is survived by her daughters: Lauren Webster (Chad) and Autumn Murry (Nick); son: Brandon Eddy (Susan); grandchildren: Piper Webster, Parker Webster, and Amelia Eddy; her sister Darlene Myers (Robert) of Morgantown. She is also survived by her church family and many foster children she took into her home over the years.
