A graduate of Kingston High School class of 1962 and of Richard the First Beauty School in Kingston, Judy was the owner and beautician of Judy's Beauty Shop in Ulster Park for over 22 years. More recently, she was was a licensed real estate agent with Mary A. Bono Real Estate in Port Ewen.

Her God and her family were the most important part of her life, especially her children and grandchildren, who she absolutely loved and adored.
Judy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Michael V. Celuch, Jr., one son, Scott (Lori) Celuch, one daughter, Brenda J. (Steve) Fryling, and proud grandmother of Makayla and Travis Fryling, all of Ulster Park. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Always beaming with pride when speaking about her grandchildren, Judy's fight with cancer was strengthened by her hope and her heart's desire to witness more of her grandchildren's successes and achievements.
Recently Judy found the strength needed to pen the following heartfelt messages: "To my friend Peggy, thank you for being there. To all of my friends that kept me going throughout this difficult fight, thank you. My family stayed by my side for over five years, how wonderful you all were to me. To Makayla and Travis, you were my inspiration to keep going".
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Hudson Valley Hospice, and also to friend and nurse Sherry Van Loan for her loving and wonderful care of Judy during her illness.
Judy's family will receive friends at the Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, 339 Broadway, Ulster Park, on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Per NYS mandates, masks are required for all visitors.
