In Loving Memory of Max Bernard Pecoskie
Passed away peacefully at the St. Francis Memorial Hospital, Barry's Bay on Sunday, October 8, 2023 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of 67 years to Teresa (nee Chapeskie). Loving father of Rose Mary (Stan Yarascavitch), David, Brian (Elizabeth Burchat), Catherine (Danny Trebinskie) and Dennis. Cherished grandpa of 14 grandchildren and 2 deceased. Great grandfather of 13 great grandchildren.
Max is survived by his dear sisters Jean (late Kenneth Eno), Julia (late Joseph Mask), and Rose (late Edward Rabishaw) and brother Stanley (late Dorothy Pecoskie). Predeceased by his parents Frank and Frances Pecoskie, brothers Tony, Angus, Philip and Frank, as well as his sisters Tessie, Stella and Mary.
Max lived his complete life on the farm on Turners Road. He cherished life, story telling and hard work. Max was proud of his land and accomplishments, especially his two tractors! The old Massey and the orange Kubota! There will be an empty chair at the table now! This spot has held years of wisdom and advice to those who had the pleasure of knowing him. His heart was kind and compassionate and his hand shake was strong and meaningful.
We his family are thankful for the homecare services he received over the past few years and very grateful for the loving care from the staff and physicians at St. Francis Memorial Hospital. Fly high "Max" and rest in peace.
