He really enjoyed teaching and coaching various sports at the Gr. 7/8 level. He had a great love of most sports especially golf, fishing, hockey and baseball.
Most of his early retirement years were spent doing some travelling, some golfing and fishing. He enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and he loved playing cards with his family. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren playing Barbies, telling & reading stories, going camping and later on going to their sports activities, piano & dance recitals too.
He celebrated 56 years of marriage this July. He was very proud to attend the wedding of his eldest granddaughter Shannon to Matt Hatina also this past July.
Bill is survived by his loving family, wife Doris, daughter Lisa (Bill Warner) and grandchildren Evan, Shannon (Matt Hatina), Jenelle, Gillian and Aleyna.
