Ramona Vaudis Campbell, of Toronto and formerly Millview, P.E.I, passed away peacefully at Chartwell Aurora Long-term Care Residence in Aurora on Monday April 10, 2023, in her 94th year.
Beloved wife of the late John Campbell (2019).
Cherished mother of John Campbell Jr. (Mary-Ann) of Toronto and Kathy (Greg) Coultas of Aurora.
Loving grandmother of Tanya, Deanna, Kristen, Samantha and Shaun as well as many great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents Samuel and Leah Taylor, brothers Edison, Ernest, John and George Taylor, sisters Sylvia Lamont and Elvira Stewart.
Missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Ramona was a wonderful story-teller, talented painter and knitter, passionate gardener and avid reader who filled her home with love, laughter and good food. She took such great care of everyone in her life. Ramona was raised in P.E.I and the island and ocean forever had a special place in her heart.
Ramona’s family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Chartwell Aurora Long-Terms Care Residence and her friend and caregiver Maureen for their compassionate care and support.
Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home in Kincardine on Friday April 14, 2023, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service which will be held at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Ken Craig officiating.
Final resting place: Kincardine Cemetery.
