We are very saddened to announce the sudden passing of Noelle Saville on July 22, 2022.
Noelle was born in Fergus, ON on December 25, 1943. She was predeceased by her parents Norman Saville (initially “Savell”) and Alma Saville (nee Dickson). She is survived by her brother, Paul Saville and several cousins in England.
Noelle worked in many schools within the Toronto District School Board. Upon retiring from teaching, she moved to Stratford. She enjoyed working in and simply being in her garden. She helped others with technology and computer problems and she enjoyed the culture that Stratford has to offer through attending plays, lectures and musical events.
Noelle was a kind and caring woman who was always ready to help others. She will be greatly missed by the many friends she made while teaching and as a member of CFUW, her book club, Friends of the Stratford Festival, the Stratford Library and the other community organizations with which she volunteered throughout the years.
For those who wish to, memorial donations would be greatly appreciated and may be made towards her two favourite charities; the Stratford General Hospital Foundation, www.sghfoundation.org, and the Stratford Festival Endowment Foundation, www.stratfordfestival.ca, directly, or through the James A. Rutherford Funeral Home, 804 Ontario Street, Stratford. 519-271-5062.
It was Noelle’s wish to be cremated and have a private gathering at a later date for family and friends.
