John “Gary” Ill, age 72, of Waterloo passed away peacefully the morning of Wednesday, October 25th, 2023. He is predeceased by his parents and his siblings Joseph, Theresa and Frank. Gary started his career framing houses, followed by a long career as a plumber, initially starting at Conestoga Mechanic and later working on the Nano Technology building at the University of Waterloo.
